Paklenica National Park is managed by the Public Institution under the Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection. The Institution’s activities include protection, maintenance and promotion of the National Park for the purpose of protecting and preserving the originality of nature, ensuring an undisturbed course of natural processes and sustainable utilization of natural wealth, and supervision of implementation of nature protection conditions and measures within the protected area.

Organization

The Public Institution’s organs are the Management Council, the Director and the Expert Guide. The Management Council operates the Institution, and the Institution’s business is managed by the Director appointed by the Minister in charge of nature protection affairs. The Paklenica National Park Public Institution is divided into 5 departments managed by the Director’s Office
